2027 Family Reunion Activities
Pack your bags — we're headed to Atlanta, June 23–27, 2027! Expect great food, exciting activities, heartfelt moments, and plenty of time to laugh and reconnect with family as well as explore all that the city has to offer own your own. Whether this is your first reunion or you've been to them all (or anywhere in between), this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Extended family welcome!
DAY 1 - Welcome to Atlanta
Wednesday, June 23
Arrival • Connection • Kickoff

Family members arrive in Atlanta and settle in at the host hotel, a vacation rental, or with Atlanta‑based relatives.

Flying in? We encourage using MARTA from the airport to the Downtown Decatur Station — the hotel is just a 5‑minute walk.

Join us for a Family Meet & Greet Happy Hour in the hotel meeting space to reconnect and kick off the reunion.

After the Meet & Greet, the evening is yours to enjoy.
-
A curated list of local restaurants, events, and nightclubs will be provided for those ready to explore the city.
DAY 2 - Atlanta City Highlights
Thursday, June 24
Sightseeing • History • Culture

Hotel guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast.

The family will meet at the hotel and board a chartered bus for a guided city tour of Atlanta.

Visit many of Atlanta’s most popular and iconic destinations.

The bus will stop for lunch (on your own).
-
Return to the hotel around 5:00 PM.

Dinner and evening activities are on your own.
DAY 3 - Free Day & Family Fun
Friday, June 25
Explore • Relax • Celebrate

Breakfast available at the hotel for those staying there.

Enjoy a free day to shop, explore the city, visit Six Flags Over Georgia, or relax at your leisure.

In the evening, the family will come together for a little backyard fun at a family member’s home, including:

DAY 4 - Family Picnic
Saturday, June 26
Food • Games • Fun for All Ages

Breakfast at the hotel for guests staying there.

The entire day is dedicated to our Family Picnic with Field Day games at a local park.

Food, activities, games, and fun are all included.

A relaxed, joy‑filled day designed for all generations to connect.

DAY 5 - Worship and Brunch

Gather together for a final family brunch.

Departures begin afterward.

Those flying out should book flights no earlier than 4:00 PM to enjoy the final day and allow time to travel to the airport.

Transportation & Lodging
Airport: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
Transportation: MARTA (public bus and rail system) — Uber, Lyft, Waymo, and car rentals are available as well. Electric scooters and electric bikes are also available to rent.
Hotel: Hampton Inn & Suites in Decatur, GA. Group rates will be available beginning July 1, 2026.
